The new CSS stylesheet is automatically generated when you create a new layout. It is a copy of the stylesheet assigned to the layout, which has the status 'default'.

To edit the CSS stylesheet assigned to the layout, select the appropriate name in the top part of the Edit CSS window.

It is a good practice to create CSS stylesheets that are not very different from each other. This is due to the fact that it is usually worth maintaining visual consistency between layouts.

Entries in the Inline CSS window work only with the selected layout. This is a useful feature that allows you to sometimes distinguish the characteristic flavors of each layout.
