You can switch the view of the layout in the first of the page properties options in the right-side menu.

At the beginning of creating a multi-layout page, it is good to set the appropriate page widths in each layout. If you use a header and footer, it will be a good practice to also set the adequate width for these areas.

As the content remains common for all layouts, it is worth paying attention to the fact that modules added in one layout will exist in all other layouts. We can change the properties regarding the appearance, position on the page, modules’ size, etc. and these features can – even significantly – vary between layouts.
