Keyboard navigation mode
mAuthor offers its own assistive technology, allowing users to easily navigate the content with a keyboard. The keyboard accessibility is supported in all the commonly used mAuthor modules. A dedicated key combination has been added for easy page navigation. This allows students to solve activities and check the results without using a mouse or touchscreen gestures. The comfort of usage is enhanced by the applied frames, indicating the user's position on a page.
Firstly, you navigate on the header, then on the page (or pages available in the book view), and finally on the footer.
The order of navigation depends on the modules' position in the editor.
You can find the list of modules supported by keyboard navigation in the Keyboard and TTS Modules section. and some additional information in the Working with keyboard navigation section.
